How We Work

From a spark to a release, one line.

Every Black Star release runs the same path — six stages that turn a raw idea into published, earning content. This is the engine behind Tha Mega Boy Band and AI MegaVault, laid out end to end.

The System

Six stages. One repeatable engine.

Each stage hands its output to the next — think, write, generate, assemble, publish, monetise. Tap any stage to open it, tap a tool to read what it's for, then expand for the exact steps. Everything starts collapsed.

Where it begins. Use conversational AI to find angles, test premises, and shape a concept before a single asset is made.

◆ Graphic: lightbulb dissolving into three branching threads

Fast, broad ideation. Great for riffing on lots of directions and stress-testing a hook quickly.

  • Dump a rough topic and ask for 20 angles
  • Pressure-test the hook against the audience
  • Cluster the best ideas into a series
  • Pick a working title and one-line premise

Strong for fact-anchored concepts and pulling in current context to ground an idea in what is real.

  • Validate the idea against current trends
  • Pull supporting facts, stats, and references
  • Check what competitors already covered
  • Find a fresh angle the topic is missing

Best for long-form thinking and refining a concept into a clear, well-reasoned outline.

  • Turn the raw idea into a structured outline
  • Define the narrative arc start to finish
  • Flag weak points and logical gaps
  • Lock the final concept brief

The concept becomes instruction. Write the prompts that tell every downstream tool exactly what to make.

◆ Graphic: a quill writing a glowing command line

Quickly spin up prompt variants and iterate on wording to dial in tone and detail.

  • Draft the first prompt from the brief
  • Generate 3–5 wording variations
  • A/B the variants, keep the strongest
  • Note what phrasing moved the output

Useful when a prompt needs to reference images or live data to steer the output.

  • Attach reference images or links
  • Describe the visual style concretely
  • Pull live data the prompt should reflect
  • Merge text and image direction

Excels at detailed, rule-heavy prompts and reusable templates that keep output consistent.

  • Write a constraint-led master prompt
  • Build a reusable template for the series
  • Add guardrails to stay on-brand
  • Document the prompt for reuse

Prompts become raw media. Generate the sound, motion, and imagery that make up the piece.

◆ Graphic: three feeds — waveform, film frames, still image — pouring out

Suno writes full tracks from a prompt; ElevenLabs voices narration and dialogue. Music and voice, covered.

  • Generate a track or full song in Suno
  • Render voiceover in ElevenLabs
  • Pick a consistent voice for the series
  • Export clean stems for editing

Text-to-video and image-to-video clips. Generate motion, scenes, and animated sequences from a description.

  • Generate scene clips from prompts
  • Use image-to-video for controlled shots
  • Create B-roll and transitions
  • Export clips at target resolution

Generate thumbnails, stills, and visual assets on demand for covers and in-video graphics.

  • Generate thumbnail options
  • Create stills and overlay graphics
  • Make cover art for audio releases
  • Upscale and tidy chosen assets

Scattered assets become one finished cut. Edit, sync, and arrange everything into the final piece.

◆ Graphic: timeline lanes stacking into a single play button

The assembly bench. Cut clips, layer audio, add captions and effects, then export ready-to-post versions for each platform.

  • Lay clips and audio on the timeline
  • Sync cuts to beat and voiceover
  • Add captions, titles, and effects
  • Export tailored versions per platform

The finished cut goes live. Publish to where the audience already is — and tailor the format to each.

◆ Graphic: one master file fanning out to three screens

The anchor channel for full-length content, searchable library, and the main monetisation engine.

  • Upload the long-form master cut
  • Write SEO title, description, tags
  • Set thumbnail and end screens
  • Schedule the publish slot

Vertical short-form built for reach. Best for hooks, trends, and pulling new viewers into the funnel.

  • Cut a vertical short from the master
  • Hook hard in the first 2 seconds
  • Add trending audio and on-screen text
  • Post at peak time with hashtags

Reels and posts for audience-building and brand presence, with strong cross-promotion back to YouTube.

  • Repurpose the short as a Reel
  • Add a cover frame and caption
  • Cross-link to the YouTube upload
  • Reply to comments to build community

The work pays back. Turn views, listens, and skills into multiple income streams.

◆ Graphic: play buttons converging into a coin stack

Revenue from views via the YouTube Partner Programme and AdSense, scaled by paid promotion when it pays for itself.

  • Hit the Partner Programme thresholds
  • Enable monetisation and ad placements
  • Link AdSense for payout
  • Reinvest in Google Ads where ROI is positive

Distribute generated music for per-stream royalties and a catalogue that earns passively over time.

  • Distribute tracks via an aggregator
  • Build a release and playlist plan
  • Grow a catalogue that earns passively
  • Track per-stream royalties over time

Package the whole pipeline as a paid skill — the highest-margin stream, selling the know-how itself.

  • Package the pipeline into a course
  • Set pricing and session format
  • Promote to the existing audience
  • Deliver live and collect testimonials

The pipeline in the wild. Two live Black Star projects that run the full six-stage flow end to end — and earn from it. Each one shows the model working, not in theory but in production.

◆ Graphic: two spotlights crossing on a stage, one musical one digital

One of the first entirely AI-created pop groups — members, songs, and visual identity all produced through the pipeline. Ideas & Concepts shapes each member's persona and the band's sound; Prompt locks the style; Generators build the music in Suno, the vocals in ElevenLabs, and the faces and videos in Kling and OpenArt; CapCut assembles the music videos; and the finished tracks ship to streaming and social.

How it makes money

Tracks distributed to Spotify earn per-stream royalties, building a catalogue that pays passively over time. Music videos on YouTube and shorts on TikTok and Instagram drive ad revenue and funnel listeners back to the streaming catalogue — every release compounds the back catalogue.

  • Full AI-generated band identity and personas
  • Original tracks written and voiced end to end
  • Music videos compiled entirely from generated assets
  • Streaming catalogue earning per-stream royalties

A YouTube channel teaching AI tools and workflows, produced by the same pipeline it documents. Ideas & Concepts finds the video angle; Prompt writes the script direction; Generators create voiceover, visuals, and B-roll; CapCut cuts the episode; and it publishes long-form to YouTube with shorts repurposed across platforms.

How it makes money

Monetised through the YouTube Partner Programme and AdSense on views, with paid promotion via Google Ads reinvested where it returns. The channel also feeds the AI:M Workshops stream — the audience it builds becomes the customer base for paid training.
